We stayed with his six in this spacious home. It was warm and cozy. The furnishings were complete, nothing was missing. Rural location, you get out the door in no time for a nice walk. We witnessed the neighbours, returning from their traditional pheasant hunt, very special to see.
We took the steam train from Pickering to Whitby, visited the York castle museum, and saw the waves hit the boulevard in Scarborough. In addition, we occasionally enjoyed a drink or lunch at a local pub.
In short, a recommendation and within an hour drive there is a lot to discover,
Also the communication with Christina prior to the trip was perfect.

Beautifully setting, so quiet and peaceful we had a wonderful stay in this well appointed converted Granary. We loved the space, having two living rooms was a luxury. Kitchen has everything you need. Luxurious linen comfy beds.
Wonderful family holiday exploring York, Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay fossil hunting, Whitby Abbey. Lots of activities for the kids walks in the forest, Go Ape and MTB in Dalby Forest which is a 10 min drive. North Yorkshire Water Park was a hit with Warrior Inflatable adventure course and Paddleboarding. Great location.

Gorgeous location, beautiful cottage. would definitely recommend this to anyone although I don't want it to become too popular selfishly ! Very spacious for everyone staying, with the two living rooms it felt huge. Will be back!

Stunning views from every room! Not far from Scarborough where there is lots to do. Great walks from the doorstep. Peaceful, spacious, great underfloor heating.

A beautiful cottage within the grounds of a working farm.
Stunning views across the countryside and only a short drive to the coast.
Spacious living areas and a very well stocked kitchen.

A superb cottage - so spacious and clean yet full of character. Well located for the North York Moors and coast and some lovely walks on the doorstep too. It comes highly recommended.
