Can't wait to return ...

Fantastic place, was not expecting the sensational  views. Fantastic clean house, comfy beds. Loved playing rugby on the lawn.  Highlights mountain biking Dalby Forest, National Bird of Prey Centre, can’t wait to return.

D.M. - Manor House Farm, near Scarborough - April 2016

I gave my Dad a week stay at the Boathouse as a gift, luckily he invited me. It is without doubt one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. The house itself is beautifully appointed with everything you could ever need and the grounds and surrounding area is enchanting. Our only concern? How quickly we can get back for another break! Well done all a well deserved 10/10.

HOLIDAYS!

Well we've had Groundhog Day, National Libraries Day, Waitangi Day, Charles Dickens' Birthday, Chinese New Year, Pancake Day, Mardi Gras, Valentine's Day, School Half Term Holiday and World Thinking Day and that was only February! Here in North Yorkshire we had the wonderful Jorvik Viking Festival in York and Coastival in Scarborough, and the famous Flying Scotsman whizzed through the other day as well. The Bowes Museum, near the historic market town of Barnard Castle, houses significant collections of fine and decorative arts and hosts fantastic exhibitions through the year;  Sedbergh in Cumbria is an all year round attraction for walkers and lovers of nature, as is Scotland and the gorgeous Highlands.

Now Easter is just around the corner and lots and lots to do during the school holidays - call us for more information and a SPECIAL LAST MINUTE DEAL on any available cottages +44 (0)1723 373461 - Julie and Christina are waiting for your call ;) or email us anytime on This email address is being protected from spambots. Fresh, clean and beautifully decorated

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Primrose Cottage. Our host's communication was excellent, it was easy to find and right in the heart of Sedbergh. The house was fresh, clean and beautifully decorated. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
