This was our second stay at West cottage this year. We enjoyed the location of the cottage. Easy access to northern Yorkshire dales, but care needed on narrow country roads and with wandering sheep.

The peace It’s down a quiet country lane and very quiet. easy walks around with lots of wildlife going about its business Close to shops and barnard castle for essentials and many attractions around and about, we even got to Hadrian’s Wall.

The Cottage is placed in a very nice location. The accommodation is nice and kitchen well equipped. The communication with the Christina (the agent) was excellent and all was as descripted at the website.

The cottage was well equipped and lovely and warm , really good given the rather cold May weather! The location was wonderful, so peaceful and scenic but yet only a short drive to Barnard Castle and excellent for visiting the surrounding area.
