Quality and position were fab and we loved the space. Someone even came later on the day we arrived with kitchen paper for us .Would love to visit again

Loved the lay-out of the cotttage, the cosy kitchen, the very nice beds. It was a joy to stay at the West Cottage. Never been at a better place.

This is our third year in the cottages and each time we have enjoyed our stay. we like the area very much and appreciate being able to go for long walks from the house using local OS maps. That is probably the cottages' main attraction in terms of location. Other wise we find them well furnished and simply which is to our taste. We would recommend to others.

Really well appointed- my wife and daughter(late 20;s) both said they could live here.
Very clean and comfortable- lambing in the fields outside the cottage- very cute.
Close 5-10 mins to Barnard Castle for shops and restaurants and plenty else to see Bowes museum, High Force waterfall within 45 mins drive.
Would definitely stay again.
