This was our 5th visit to West cottage which we really enjoyed.Over the years we have also stayed in East cottage, the cottage near Scarborough and 2 on the Black Isle so no doubt we will be booking one of the cottages again. I have only given service 9 because the towels were missing when we arrived I would like to thank Julie for rectifying the problem. Alice Gilmour

Loved the cottage very comfortable and well equipped a real home from home, only down side was our lack of mobile phone signal. We would love to return again soon.

Love the country location of the cottage particularly liked seeing all the new born lambs in the fields and hearing the curlews and lapwings.The weather was lovely and sunny as well so enjoyed the walks in the countryside. This cottage is ideal for visiting Barnard Castle which is a very nice town
