The double doors from the dining kitchen lead to a TV Lounge/Sitting Room, which has TV / Sky, DVD Player, a twin-seat sofa, armchairs, coffee tables and a feature stone fireplace with electric fire. This lounge leads to the large Master Bedroom with a super-king bed, walk-in wardrobe, twin-seat sofa, dressing table & stool and bedside cabinets. A hairdryer is also supplied. The en-suite Bathroom comprises a bath, walk-in shower, WC, heated towel rail and illuminated mirrored cabinet.
First Floor: Double Bedroom with king-size bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, chest of drawers. The en-suite Bathroom comprises bath and shower over bath, WC and heated towel rail. There is also a Twin Bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and chair. The twin room en-suite Bathroom has bath and shower over bath, WC, heated towel rail and illuminated mirrored cabinet.
There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, and radiators on the upper floor. Heating and electricity are included in your rental. Free WiFi is also available. Duvets and pillows, with luxury bed linen, and towels are all provided.
The garden is not enclosed or fenced, and there is a patio area with garden furniture. There is also ample parking.
Please note: Gardens/Outside areas not necessarily dog proof, even if fenced/walled. Please keep your dogs under control, especially near farm animals.
Fantastic location and will definetly return again...the sheepdog kept even the most cynical of teenagers happy. Also deepest thanks to the farmer for allowing us to have a brief but loud fireworks display...James

The house is lovely and very tastefully furnished. Well equipped with stunning views. So often we rent properties and are disappointed after being misled with photographs and descriptions but this time we were not and will definitely return for another visit.
I cannot think of anything that we did not like and we were a mixed group of various age ranges.

Granary Cottage is in a superb setting and beautifully furnished etc. Standard of equipment in the Cottage was generally excellent. The views and tranquility were just what we needed.
The broadband internet connection wasn't working. Some parts of the Cottage had not been particularly well cleaned (eg: the lampshade on the wall light above the dressing table in the master bedroom was festooned with cobwebs!), but this is a minor 'niggle'. We were suprised to see a reference in the guest information book re a welcome back being in the Cottage on arrival, there wasn't one. However there was a bottle of wine which was very acceptable!

Fabulous cottage, fixtures, furnishings and views. Absolutely clean and superbly equipped. It has the wow factor, and anyone would be a fool if they did not book this cottage after browsing on the web. Knockout. You'd go a long way to beat it. You walk in and think " I'm so glad I booked this". Sometimes holiday properties disappoint, but this one is aspirational. Great location for peacefulness and getting out and about, plus some scenic areas for running each day.
Cancellation: The Holidaymaker is liable for the total hire charge unless written notice of the intention to cancel the booking is received at least eight weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. The deposit paid to confirm the booking, and other monies paid, will only be refunded if the Owner is able to re-let the holiday cottage for the period of the holiday let. In the event of re-letting, the Owner will retain the sum of 100GBP to cover administrative costs and (subject to deduction of that sum) refund to the Holidaymaker the balance of monies received from the Holidaymaker, or the sum received from re-letting whichever sum shall be the lower. Every effort will be made to re-let a cancelled booking, but the Holidaymaker is advised to take out holiday insurance to cover that eventuality.
