"Compact, clean, modern and exceptionally well-equipped. Perfect for 2-4 people. Two minutes walk from the centre of town, with a great view over the fells to both front and back. Loads of walks right on the doorstep, from easy to challenging. The only downside not mentioned in the property description, which is otherwise scrupulously accurate, is that it is located on the main through traffic route, which might put some people off, though it did not bother us. In any case, there is little traffic after 10pm. We never had a problem finding on-street parking opposite or close to the property, though this might be different in summer. The nearest car park is two minutes walk away, and the hosts provide a free parking pass."

"Fantastic location in a lovely little town - you can step out of the door and be up on the fells in a few minutes, but are also well-connected to reach the wider Dales or even the Lake District in a short time by car. Great place with a very well-appointed kitchen and great quality of all other facilities - only a single caveat: maybe not entirely suitable for very tall people, the ceilings are quite low upstairs, especially in the bathroom!"
