Roebuck Cottage could best be described as "magical". What a lovely retreat to take in nature, recharge, and get invigorated. Perfect for exploring the Black Isle and parts nearby. Even took a day trip up to John o' Groats, Dunnet Head and Thurso which was a beautiful way to see lovely portions of the Highlands. Our stay was superb. The unit is a duplex and the adjacent guests who were there for a few overlapping days mentioned that they had been returning to the same location for some 15+ years from their home in Kent and it is easy to see why: unimpeded views of the firth, surrounding hillsides, and farm fields. Warm and snug in the ever-present Scottish rains, the cottage is a great place to enjoy hot tea or coffee and watch nature. The upstairs loft is a nice retreat to unplug and just unwind. No real negatives at all about the cottage. We had a party of four and with two and half baths, there was never a problem with morning showers or using the facilities. Idyllic all around. Highly recommend.
