"An ideal retreat for perfect relaxation. Four of us (all adults) spent a week in East Cottage and cannot recommend it highly enough. Overlooking fields of sheep and with the sound of Curlews and Owls, what's not to like. Home from home warmth with the most comfortable beds and pristine bedding/linen. Every need is catered for (except oven gloves and Welcome Pack), but hey, we took our own food, and bath mats make good oven gloves! All the rooms were very spacious and clean and the garden was well fenced for our 4-legged friend. A good selection of local tourist information was also available. Only 15 miles from Scotch Corner, we were handy for Barnard Castle, Richmond, Hawes and only a car ride from good hostelries."
