A delightful cottage ,beautifully and comfortably furnished and we can not fault it. The location is perfect if you look for escape, peace, quiet and nature but still not far from the busy coast . We love this Valley and have stayed in three properties but this is perfect if just a couple. |

Perhaps a little more cutlery as dishwasher is used and easy to tun out as only 6 of everything. Dishes etc are rather large if only cooking for 2 / 3 people . We had to wait for our shopping to be delivered so a small milk, tea and biscuits welcome pack would appreciated , precovid this was the norm.
All comments are quickly actioned and the running of your company is superb. Thank you. We hope to return again. |

Wonderful location, though not the easiest to get to. Peace and quiet with wonderful views. Very well furnished and kitted out. Country Cottage deal with any issues quickly and efficiently.. Main form of communication is Whatsapp. |

One or two minor issues during our two stays. Both sorted out quickly and efficiently. The shed door lock is an irritation. Only 2 small glasses A couple more would have been nice. |

This is a really lovely cottage. It is cosy, warm and very well equipped. If you’re after peace and quiet and fabulous scenery, this should be just what you’ve been looking for. We stayed in December and the addition of a Christmas tree was a very nice touch. |

The access door into the roof space in the bathroom wouldn’t close. This wouldn’t be a problem in the summer but did make the bathroom a bit cool when we stayed in the winter. Otherwise no issues at all. |

The location is unbeatable for peace & quiet and outlook, but it is isolated. The road there is narrow and uphill. The Smithy has been furnished to a high standard. Instructions covering directions, access and local amenities were very comprehensive and easy to follow. |

You dealt with a televison repair very efficiently with the minimum of disruption to us. My only complaint is that the " Guest Type" on this review doesn't seem to work. Put us down as "very satisfied". |

You rapid attention to the blocked shower overflow and broken handrail was excellent . Thank you .
Perhaps the Cottage is now in need of minor work, ie Shower grouting dirty, patio needs a mould removed and weed . Otherwise all was very satisfactory and well equipped.

The cottage and scenery are beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed especially given the covid restrictions. We were only 30 mins away from areas of interest such as Scarborough, Whitby and Dalby Forrest. Cottage was very homely and modern but with a cottage appeal. Plenty of space for 2-3 adults and dog friendly which was a big bonus. |

The patio area could do with a bit more furniture, perhaps some lounger chairs / bigger table and chairs - such a great area. |
