If you want peace and quiet this valley, away from tourist crowds and you dont mind driving, it is a perfect location. Glorious view across the valley from the patio, but sadly no evening sun ! Information in cottage is excellent . The cottage is attractively furnished and perfect for a couple. This is our third stay in this particular cottage and it is obvious that improvements,replacements have taken place to maintain the high standards. |

Attention and information from Country Cottage Holidays is excellent. We have now spent 9 weeks in their beautiful properties and are highly satisfied.
Any issues have been quickly resolved.

They should probably all be 10, but there are one or two things we would use if they were there. The location is wonderful, but a little far from civilisation. Generally very well equiped and any problems sorted out quickly. |

Couldn't work out how the new central heating thermostat worked, but on the other hand, didn't need it. |

A delightful cottage ,beautifully and comfortably furnished and we can not fault it. The location is perfect if you look for escape, peace, quiet and nature but still not far from the busy coast . We love this Valley and have stayed in three properties but this is perfect if just a couple. |

Perhaps a little more cutlery as dishwasher is used and easy to tun out as only 6 of everything. Dishes etc are rather large if only cooking for 2 / 3 people . We had to wait for our shopping to be delivered so a small milk, tea and biscuits welcome pack would appreciated , precovid this was the norm.

Wonderful location, though not the easiest to get to. Peace and quiet with wonderful views. Very well furnished and kitted out. Country Cottage deal with any issues quickly and efficiently.. Main form of communication is Whatsapp. |

One or two minor issues during our two stays. Both sorted out quickly and efficiently. The shed door lock is an irritation. Only 2 small glasses A couple more would have been nice. |

This is a really lovely cottage. It is cosy, warm and very well equipped. If you’re after peace and quiet and fabulous scenery, this should be just what you’ve been looking for. We stayed in December and the addition of a Christmas tree was a very nice touch. |

The access door into the roof space in the bathroom wouldn’t close. This wouldn’t be a problem in the summer but did make the bathroom a bit cool when we stayed in the winter. Otherwise no issues at all. |

The location is unbeatable for peace & quiet and outlook, but it is isolated. The road there is narrow and uphill. The Smithy has been furnished to a high standard. Instructions covering directions, access and local amenities were very comprehensive and easy to follow. |

You dealt with a televison repair very efficiently with the minimum of disruption to us. My only complaint is that the " Guest Type" on this review doesn't seem to work. Put us down as "very satisfied". |
