Would you like to experience life on a Traditional Sporting Estate in the Highlands of Scotland?

HOUSEKEEPING STAFF REQUIRED

We are looking to recruit one, possibly two, seasonal members of staff to join our housekeeping team at Conaglen House, Ardgour, Near Fort William, PH33 7AH. Accommodation would be provided in adjacent shared staff quarters.

Shifts are available immediately and the employment period could extend to Mid November 2022, but we would consider employing staff for a shorter period e.g. to tie in with return dates to University in September 2022. Employment could be offered again from March 2023 if the right candidate(s) are found and discussion relating to extending the accommodation during the Winter period would be possible.

Previous experience would be beneficial but not necessary. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will undertake a variety of daily and weekly changeover tasks primarily in Conaglen House, but also in other holiday letting properties on the Estate.

We are looking for team members who are:

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Good communicators
  • Efficient multi-taskers
  • Good at taking initiative
  • Reliable and friendly
  • Working weekends and evenings will be a necessity
  • Driving license and own car not essential, but would be beneficial, as Conaglen is located in a remote location with poor public transport links.

The roles could suit two individuals or a couple and, depending on experience and capabilities of the candidates, we may consider extending the duties offered to also assisting in our multi-disciplinary maintenance and gardening teams.
