Excellent cottage. It deserves its 'golden award' and its 4-star rating. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the flowers in the kitchen (lilies)
It all contributed to a wonderful holiday.

The Cottage was immaculate, very homely, warm and the log fire was brilliant.
Couldn't fault any thing, the milk in the fridge, tea coffee and sugar basket and the vase of flowers were a very nice thoughtful touch! |

The road beyond the small bridge on farm track leading to the cottages needed the pot holes repaired. |

We have stayed numerous times over the years at this cottage and love everything about it. |
|
I think perhaps the cottage is now ready for a lick of paint throughout. It is beginning to look a little bit 'tired' in places. |

Relaxing atmosphere, very spacious, good size bedrooms, perfect fire place stocked with coal and logs, perfect to end your day sitting by the fire.
The kitchen is exceptionally large, with everything you need if not more.
This was our second holiday to north cottage this year, and its my plan to book another holiday writhing the end of this year.

My only slight negative and probably personal preference, the shower within the ground floor bedroom is very slow and takes a long time to get a decent enough shower, and as it kindly states the water comes from a natural source, if the shower was that little more powerfully perhaps it wouldn't use so much water, again personal preference and not a negative or something that's warrant on improving. |

One down side, the mattress on the king size bed is old, not supportive and needs replacing. Severe back ache! |
