We love this house ( Manor House Farm )very much. This is the third time we spend our holidays |

All is well at Manor House Farm . You just have to repaint the walls and do some repairs |

the tranquillity offered by Manor House Farm was one of the best we have experienced.
the location is ideal for local tourist destinations.
The bed linen was of a very good standard.
We liked the feel of the cottage and the furnishings were comfortable.
We very much enjoyed our stay and left feeling relaxed and refreshed.
The bottle of wine was lovely and we enjoyed it very much. |

We enjoy cooking and would have appreciated another medium sized cooking pot and a few more options for ovenware.
We really struggled to dry a bit of washing. We didn't want to use the dryer and not having an other option was awkward for us. The washing line was being used by the cottage attached to ours and we weren't sure if or when we could use it. There were only a few pegs too.
Our teenage daughter feels another tv in one of the bedrooms should also be considered! |

We had a fabulous relaxing weekend.
The views were lovely and peaceful. Amazing place to star gaze. The garden was brilliant for our dogs to chase around.
We loved the cottage. It was lovely and warm, we had constant hot water. The beds were probably the comfiest that we have stayed in.
The toiletries provided were a lovely touch. And surprising for self catering. We appreciated the chocolates and wine too.
We walked from the cottage to Dalby and back. Was an 8mile walk and muddy but we all enjoyed it.
We would definitely recommend and we hope to return to the cottage. |

This property is in a lovely location in Trout Dale and is very comfortable. |
|
Property would have benefited from a place to store bikes. Also more mugs and a few more kitchen basics e.g. foil, cling film and dish cloth.
Please note that the window latch needs to be fitted back onto the window in the master bedroom upstairs.
There did not appear to be a folder containing information about the cottage, for example there did not appear to be any instructions on how to adjust the central heatings. |

Beautiful cottage and setting for those who like the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. Car essential. |

For 6 adults who enjoy cooking, a few more pans and serving dishes
would have come in handy, and larder space is a bit tight. For a family with children, this would probably not be an issue. The house is beautifully done out. |

We had a great week, the location was lovely and peaceful and quiet - just what we all needed, apart from the list below..... |
|
A few things were a bit disappointing:
1) we arrived at 4.45pm on the Saturday (so much later than 4.00pm) to find the cleaners still cleaning the cottage! this was very confusing for my mum, as she is blind and it was meant to be a quiet welcome etc.... We weren't very happy about this, and they didn't even apologise! They seemed in a rush - this was true because they had put our quilt cover on inside out.
2) I decided to have a bath on the Sunday morning, however whilst laying back in the bath, I stretched out my legs and then realised that there was a greasy rim all around the bath - YUCK! so I had to leap out......
3) the window catch on the bedroom with the bath, was hanging off, it needs a little screw to tighten it up - it fell off twice whilst we were there.
4) I left a freezer block (a white one) in the freezer by a mistake. If it could be sent to me that would be lovely. I know its only a freezer block but it was new.
