Comfortable, clean cottage with all amenities walkable and excellent views. We were able to park outside the cottage so had no need to use the parking permit. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery/glasses - would have liked a pair of scissors though. |

The porch is looking in need of TLC. In the heatwave there does seem to be an issue with the ingress of insects. |

Beautiful cottage, really nicely furnished with a lovely kitchen and gas fire, very comfortable. We appreciated the capsules for the washing machine! The location was perfect for lots of good walking in the Howgills, and Sedbergh is a very nice town with some amazing shops. Country Cottages were brilliant at communicating everything, accommodating, and on hand to help at any time. |

The shower is nice but the ceiling is not high enough to allow it to be stood up in properly, especially if you are over 6ft. That wouldn't put us off staying again though |

great accommodation in a great location. All appliances had clear instruction, bedding, towels clean. One small thing, could benefit of having a tea strainer and a medium size induction friendly frying pan. |

The cottage was perfect. Clean. Cosy. Everything worked well. . Nice furnishings and towels etc. beds were comfortable. Bathrooms nice and a well laid out kitchen. Lovely location for us. Thank you for leaving out the stair gate. Superb service and personal relations from Christina and Lucy, couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!! |

Everything was great. Well equipped. Only comment is kitchen could do with an extra frypan as there is only one and it’s tiny!! Therefore hard to cook many things :) |

Primrose cottage is truly a home from home with everything for a comfortable stay: a super, well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge dining room, cloakroom, house bath/shower room and wonderfully comfortable beds. Located close to Sedbergh's shops including many book shops especially the extensively stocked Westwood Books. A great base for exploring both the Dales and the Lakes, highly recommended |
