The Smithy is an old blacksmith's workshop which has been completely refurbished into a cosy 2 bedroom traditional stone cottage, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, with the most spectacular views.
This cottage is just across the small country road from our Manor House Farm, in the heart of the picturesque North York Moors National Park. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of rural North Yorkshire, and located between the seaside town of Scarborough and the village of Snainton, it is ideally situated for peace and tranquillity as well as for lots to see and do in nearby towns and villages. Beautifully furnished, this cosy, dog friendly, self-catering cottage has one king bedroom, and one single bedroom, sleeping three guests.
The Smithy accommodation is entirely on the ground floor, making it accessible for those with limited mobility. There is a comfortable sitting room with french windows opening onto the large patio and surrounding countryside. The fully-fitted and well-equipped dining kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave oven and a washer/dryer. The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and lamps, and chair. The Single Bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe, and bedside cabinet. The Family Bathroom has a shower, wash-hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. All rooms have amazing views.
There is also a large outdoor seating area with garden furniture, and wonderful views over the countryside.
Please note: Gardens/Outside areas not necessarily dog proof, even if fenced/walled. Please keep your dogs under control, especially near farm animals.
