Bright, spacious rooms; Pleasant, attractive decor; Very well equipped kitchen; Lovely views and surrounding countryside; Very relaxing place to stay,. It may seem that I've listed more negatives (below) than positives but we very much enjoyed our stay and really liked the house.

Our second stay here, we really love the cottage. Lots of space, quiet yet well situated for visiting Teesdale and the Yorkshire Dales. Barnard Castle is only a few minutes drive away and is itself a pleasant place with many amenities.

We love the homeliness of the cottage and the good sized garden for the dogs. The views from the windows are lovely, especially in April when new born lambs can be seen and heard. We will be back in September.

The cottage was beautifully clean and we love the location - it feels remote but you are handy for Reeth, Barnard Castle and the A66. Garden is really great for the dog, and the open fire was lovely to have and its great that a supply of logs is given. The cottage is well equipped and cosy.

Our second stay and even better than the first, love the house, love the location. Logistics are so easy ie turn up and get the key from the box and start our holiday! Cottage really warm and we love the open fire. Big thumbs up.
